Bluebox to trial new VoD system on Internode network

Bluebox Devices has signed a partnering agreement with national broadband company Internode that offers Internode customers access to a unique Video on Demand (VoD) system developed in Australia.

Through this relationship, Internode customers will be among the first in the world to sample a new kind of content-on-demand system developed by Melbourne-based Bluebox Devices.

Internode managing director Simon Hackett said the agreement provided Internode customers with an opportunity to try out an exciting new online experience. ”We are excited at the technology being developed by Bluebox,” he said.

“Internode is happy to provide technical support and access to our network as a test bed for the upcoming developments and we look forward to working with Bluebox as a significant part of the VoD/IPTV ecosystem.”

Bluebox Devices CEO Robert Yearsley said Bluebox valued working with another Australian pioneer. “It’s a great opportunity to bring our revolutionary VoD service to Internode customers,” he said.

“Bluebox and Internode share a focus on creating the best customer experience possible, so in the coming months both organisations will work to develop the best user experience and the highest quality of VoD service for Internode customers.”
